A mere 3-4 hours road trip from NCR transports you into the lap of Aravallis in the Alwar district of Rajasthan at the doorsteps of Sariska Tiger Reserve. Sariska Tiger Reserve is a national park and tiger reserve located in Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan, India. It stretches over an area of 866 square kms comprising of scrub-thorn arid forests, dry deciduous forests, grasslands as well as rocky hills.

Sariska Tiger Reserve is famous for its tiger sightings, wildlife as well the centuries-old Pandupol temple inside the tiger reserve. A variety of other wild animals like the leopard, sambhar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar, rhesus  macaque, langur, hyena and jungle cats are found in the Sariska Tiger Reserve apart from the tiger. It is home to India's largest population of peafowl, and harbours quail, sand grouse, golden- backed woodpeckers and crested serpent eagles, among other species. Also the Siliserh Lake on the edge of the park has a large number of crocodiles.

Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary houses the ruins of medieval temples of Garh-Rajor that date back to the 10th and 11th centuries. Also a 17th century castle on a hilltop at Kankwari provides a panoramic view of flying vultures and eagles. Sariska was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and attained the status of a National Park in 1979. 

Apart from wildlife, Sariska also offers a pollution-free environment at the foothills of Aravallis and the clearest night skies in the proximity of the National Capital Region. The clear night skies have made the place a favourite amongst amateur astronomers.  

Aamod at Sariska popularly called Alwarbagh is conveniently located between Sariska Tiger Reserve and Alwar city on Alwar Jaipur road. Accommodation is planned in four different clusters / villas with enough privacy around. A combination of 8 Super Deluxe rooms and 12 Deluxe rooms with a private courtyard is ideal for organising personal events and celebrations too.


The third and the fourth clusters are look-alike and situated next to each other. They are called "Gulab Villa"and "Bhanwar Villa". Each Villa consists of 4 Deluxe rooms on ground floor and 2 Super Deluxe rooms on the first floor.

The activity team at AlwarBagh by Aamod can organize mountain trekking, Stargazing at its inhouse Stargate Observatory, cycling, walking tours etc around the resort.
